Best-Hall is known for its fabric-covered buildings, which it has been making since 1975. The company is no stranger to sheet metal buildings either, which it has also been supplying from the beginning, albeit infrequently. The world has changed during this period of more than 45 years, which has led to the development of new options. In 2010, Best-Hall launched a steel building that is closer to traditional construction. In recent years, different combinations of materials have also been introduced, for reasons such as the fact that fabric structures cannot always get a building permit due to zoning regulations.
Best-Hall Kombi is a steel-structured building that can be customised in terms of facade material, as well as the length, width and height of the building. The building can be either unheated, semi-heated or fully heated. In an insulated building, the roof consists of two layers of PVC fabric, the first being an exterior cladding and the second an interior cladding. Insulation, usually blown wool, is installed between the layers. The building requires a concrete foundation, to which the building is anchored with either anchor bolts or cast-in anchors.
The most common facade material is the sandwich panel. These come in different thicknesses, chosen on the basis of thermal transmittance. In Finland, the most common panel used is Ruukki’s thickest 230-mm SPA E Life, which consists of two sheet metal plates and a mineral wool core and has a thermal transmittance coefficient of 0.16 W/m2K. Other possible facade materials include wood and sheet metal.
The personal access doors are insulated aluminium doors. For goods transport and machinery access, insulated overhead doors can be included in the delivery. Eaves can also be included in the delivery. There is a wide range of equipment to choose from, which you can check out in our accessories catalogue.
Sports facilities are often located in areas with stricter zoning regulations than industrial areas, for example. When this is the case, Best-Hall Kombi is an option to consider. Indeed, we have built a few Best-Hall Kombi sports facilities, such as Bo Arena in Kaarina.
We would be happy to tell you more about Kombi and assist you all the way from the survey phase.
