Best-Hall responds to the need for renewable energy by providing its buildings with the option for solar panels

With solar panels installed on the roof of a fabric-covered building, the owner of the building can cover more of its consumption with renewable energy and reduce its electricity bill. Finland’s solar power capacity will increase dramatically in the coming years. In its forecast, Fingrid estimates that solar power production capacity will increase ten-fold between now and 2030. They require no fuel or regular maintenance measures. Even snow does not need to be cleared off the panels, because the snow will only clean their surface as it thaws.

At times, people in Finland doubt that there is enough sunlight available. Even though winter in the north is long and dark, the amount of solar radiation is still at the level of northern Germany. “We first ensured that solar panels could be successfully fitted by fitting a set of 52 panels on the roof of our own paint shop in Kälviä. They generate approximately 18,000 kWh of electricity a year.”
