Kuljetusrinki

Service concept led to construction of a waste processing with Best-Hall

Kuljetusrinki Oy needed more room for its growing business operations. Based on earlier experiences, the company already knew that it wanted to purchase the new waste processing building from Best-Hall’s expert team.

“We knew that Best-Hall’s fabric structure was a great fit for our business operations. After all, we already had two Best-Hall buildings. One had been in use for a number of years and the other a couple of years,” says Recycling Manager Jouni Lilja.

“This was a natural continuation to supplement the other Best-Hall buildings,” Chairman of the Board Jukka Aro adds.

In addition to knowing that the building would meet its needs, Kuljetusrinki wanted to tap Best-Hall’s expertise thanks to the extensive and efficient collection of services.

“Best-Hall’s deliveries are not limited to wall structures, and it was important to us for the package to be tailored to our wishes.”

Excellent service from start to finish

According to Lilja, the service concept is specifically what separates Best-Hall from its competitors.

“They have the whole thing working brilliantly from start to finish: sales, design, support for the architects and support to speed up our building permit applications. It all starts with planning and going through our needs and wishes.”

Among the most important things about the new building intended for receiving waste was the door size.

“We wanted extremely high doors, since there have been some issues with the lower doors of the previous buildings.”

Cost-efficient solution for environmental management needs

Despite the earlier experiences, the installation of the new steel-framed, fabric covered structure took Kuljetusrinki by surprise.

“Due to the building permits and other matters, it took us until November to get started. In December, winter caught us entirely by surprise and we were sure that the installation team would be unable to work in the conditions. Yet, the tensile building was completed on schedule, despite the snowstorm and wind, which was an amazing feat,” Lilja says, praising the efforts.

According to Jukka Aro, the Best-Hall fabric covered structure, which has now been in service for some time, has met the expectations perfectly and shown itself to be highly cost-efficient.

“I have recommended similar buildings and Best-Hall solutions for other operators in the field, and our good experiences have sparked interest.”
