In addition to PVC, Best-Hall also offers a variety of other options: the cover can be made out of sheet metal, wood or sandwich elements.
The PVC cover used in the Best-Hall solutions is polyester fabric that is PVC-coated and processed with acrylic varnish, UV protection and anti-mould agent.
We use several thicknesses of fabric, meaning that their weight varies. The thickness and weight of the cover are defined according to the size and load of the hall.
There are three standard sizes: 24 x 12, 30 x 15 and 51 x 20 m (length x width). The minimum height of all standard buildings (in the interior) is 5 metres.
Typically 24 x 12 metres
The primary maximum width of the buildings is 100 metres. There is no maximum limit to the length. We have delivered buildings with 15-metre-long walls.
Powder coating gives the frame an excellently finished smooth surface. The coating minimises the friction between the PVC fabric and the frame, reducing the wear of the fabric. Powder coating is also an environmentally friendly alternative, and it makes the frame exceptionally resistant to corrosion up to environment category 5. According to your needs and wishes, the frame can also be zinc coated.
Yes. Best-Hall can install interior roofing in your building to function as a light heat insulator. If necessary, glass wool can also be installed between the materials.
Various cranes or conveyors can be integrated in all of our buildings.
The most common length is between 9 and 12 metres, but we have built doorways up to 15 metres.
The rule of thumb is that the door must be 50 cm lower than the interior wall.
Yes, both traditional roll-up doors as well as fabric doors.
If necessary, we can also deliver buildings with straight column walls. However, stored materials cannot always be located directly next to a wall. Straight walls increase the price of a building because of a possible concrete foundation, for example.
Yes. Best-Hall is not a temporary shelter from the weather made of plastic or tarpaulin, but a safe and durable spatial solution that is always customised according to local wind and snow loads.
Yes. Best-Hall products can be set up on asphalt, provided that the size, snow load and any other applicable additional loads do not require special arrangements.
We will deliver drawings on the requirements for the various areas of the foundation of the building together with the contract documents.
The corners of the building must be marked, and on-site electricity must be installed. The site must be cleaned as required by the space needed for installation, and snow must be cleared from the site. Underground cables and piping must also be clearly marked.
Approximately 25 to 30 years. There are buildings we constructed more than 40 years ago that still have the original fabric roofing.
No. We will tighten the cover to its final form during the installation phase.
Small incisions can be repaired using PVC glue, available from Best-Hall.
Yes, you can buy fabric for patching by calling us.
Take a photo of the damage and the entire building, and deliver the photos to us. We will then estimate the necessary repair operations and their cost.
Humidity may condense on the ceiling of the building at certain temperatures, but this can be significantly reduced by using roof exhaust fans. If your product requires a certain humidity percentage for the storage space, dehumidification equipment can be installed in the building.
We customise all of our Best-Hall solutions according to the local wind and snow load. Therefore, the structures are sure to support the local snow load, which in Helsinki, for example, is 200 kg/m2. The maximum thickness of the snow on the roof depends on the consistency of the snow.
If necessary, snow can be removed in a similar way to any other structures. Remember safety: do not go on the roof without a safety harness!
No. We manufacture all buildings in our own factory in Kälviä, Central Ostrobothnia, Finland. We employ a total of approximately 135 people.
The price of a building is building-specific, which is why a separate price list is not available. The price per square metre depends on the building’s purpose of use, size, snow load, location and equipment.
The delivery time varies according to the order. We generally deliver our products within 8 to 12 weeks.
Best-Hall can place a new logo on top of the old one.
The regular inspections of factories and manufacturing sites by a recognised organisation aim to ensure that the products and the manufacturing processes correspond to the quality control requirements. Best-Hall is monitored by Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy and can therefore verify that the structures meet all the regulatory requirements. Difficult and expensive building site-specific testing is usually not required. We have used a DNV-monitored ISO 9001 quality management system since 1993. e.
Our selection of services covers everything from design to commissioning and possible reuse solutions at a later stage.
ServicesWe do not compromise on quality. We are entirely in charge of the delivery and installation processes in order to ensure that the outcome meets all our criteria.
